There's a big honkin' fan fiction survey poking around and it fails on several levels - academic, research, fandom, etc.

For a really good explanation of why you should not take it, read here - a post by eruthros, one of the kink_bingo mods.

I skimmed a couple of the questions and read some of the comments people had made here about the survey and my conclusion was that 'it's a bad thing'.

It's badly designed and makes a LOT of (mostly wrong) assumptions about fandom and slash and so many other things it'll make your head spin.

My advice: stay away from it.
