There were no links on the previous post at all and scribbld.com didn't work b/c it said the p/w was wrong... so trying that again....

ETA: only the LJ link showed up on this entry.

after the above ETA: DJ and LJ links were present.

Testing crossposting issue w/ my main journal on DW...

Trying to figure out why the crosspost links don't ALL show up at the same time and tend to disappear and reappear if the post is edited.

Let's see how many links we get on this one. There *should* be 4:

scribbld.com (assuming this site still works)
livejournal.com
insanejournal.com
deadjournal.com

initially: 0 x-post links

after edit: IJ and LJ links appeared

Just three... feel free to snag for personal use...
images are from:
* Robert Patrick: random google search IIRC
* Hugh Laurie: recent S7 promos from the folks at

hughbunnies

textures from:
* cgtextures.com
* textures.forrest.cz
* freefoto.com

click on the little images to get the big ones

(( currently they're all 1240x1028; I can make other sizes, but I can't guarantee they'll be identical, b/c I'm a dork and didn't save the .psd files. *oops* ))

I'm sure you're aware of LJ's latest code release that is something of a privacy concern with regard to Facebook and Twitter x-posting - if not, go read and come back. I'll wait...

So, if that makes you nervous, Dreamwidth is an option - I have invite codes a-plenty if anyone would like one. Also - Dreamwidth has put up a semi-functioning mock-up of the new update (post entry) page! It is shiny! It's mod-able! It has a tag list!

Granted, it's not fully-functional yet, but it's coming soon! It will even have 'scheduled posting' and 'draft posts' and all sorts of nifty features.

Personally - I'm loving the idea of the tag list, b/c I'll be damned if I can ever remember all of my tags. =)

Also? As an FYI - please make it a point not to click those damned Facebook and Twitter boxes on any of my LJ posts if/when you comment. I'd really rather not have there be a possibility of my locked content going out to people not on my filters. If I catch it happening, I'll disable comments on LJ, period.
