Minor League Baseball -

So - went to the local minor league team's game tonight. Admittedly, they're usually not that good, however, this year, they seem to be off to a decent start. I think mom said that they've only lost one game so far this season and we're two weeks in, so that's actually pretty good, despite how many decent players they've lost. (I don't know if that means that all the other teams just got crappier players than ours did or if our team's just been lucky or they're just good this season. *g*)

Anyway - this is the 2nd game that I've been to and they have Rick-rolled the crowd both times! Okay, I'm sure they don't realize that's what they're doing and it's not like they're saying 'hey, we're gonna play song X' then turn around and play "Never Gonna Give You Up". But, it's amusing all the same. Sadly, the people that I go to the games with, have *no* idea what a Rick-roll is, so it's not funny to them. :( I will have to educate them...

Anyway - local team won 9-6 tonight - they pulled in 3 runs in the last inning b/c the guy they brought up to bat after they walked a 'good' hitter hit a homerun - apparently just to show the other team who was boss.

Honestly - that's about all I remember b/c it was freakin' COLD. 69F isn't all that cold until there is WIND. I don't like being cold dammit!
