Woot and - uh, oooookay -
Aug. 3rd, 2009 06:21 pmFirst - WOOT - this is really cool - http://www.50000shoes.com/ - Zack Braff and Donald Faison are teamed up with Soles4Souls for this challenge. I don't remember where I saw the link first (I'd guess either a Tweet from Greg Grunberg or Rob Thomas) - but it's very cool! For $5.00 US, you contribute 2 pairs of shoes to folks who don't have any. The challenge is 50k pairs in 50 days. They're off to a good start.
The 'uh ooookay' is re: THIS - just the idea has so much 'wrong' that, yeah, I'm really glad that it's not happening, no matter HOW much I love Hugh Jackman. Just - no.
