Cookie update - recipes pt1
Nov. 30th, 2009 01:28 amI've mixed up batter for one batch of cookies and completely finished 2 others.
The batter I mixed up for baking tomorrow (it has to chill and set first) are the Sugarcrafter's chocolate crinkles. B/c what could be bad about chocolate cookies rolled in powdered sugar? XD
Next is the Snickerdoodles recipe that my mom's been making for years (though this recipe leaves out the measurements - you can get the recipe by inputting an e-mail - so I'll put those in later under the cut). It's from an old Pilsbury cookbook that bills itself as 'The New Pillsbury Family Cookbook'. And if you'd like to know how old it really is - it has a 'new' section on microwave cooking! *g*
And Alton Brown's Toasty Coconut Macaroons - one of my faves!
Tomorrow I'll bake the chocolate crinkles and maybe whip up the batter for sugar cookies. I'll probably wait until Tuesday to mix up the batter for the Spritz cookies so that I can bake those on Wed when I'll have plenty of time before I have to take my dog to the vet.

In other news - goddamned opossum! The fucker was in the trashcan and skittered out of it when I took my dog out just now and scared the fucking hell out of me. Damned thing.
