web accessibility query
Jan. 3rd, 2010 09:25 pmHello circle o' friends! I have a request for you, especially those of you who use assistive tech or those familiar with web designing for such.
Can you take a look at this page: http://www.ausgate.net/visitor/index.asp (feel free to register an account to see other parts of the site as well if you like... or join up and start playing with it too. *g*)
Which things jump out (or even hide in the corners) as accessibility issues? I know the colors are a little hard to read and the images in the background behind the text make reading difficult too.
But! The site is looking for design ideas, so I'm kicking some things around and wanted some accessibility feedback. Not necessarily how to do it, but what things on that site really work and what things really don't.
I'm collecting my replies on Dreamwidth. Come play with me using your own Dreamwidth account or OpenID!
replies over there.
