Olympics coverage, etc.

NBC - really... what is going on with the coverage? Do we *really* need a commercial break after EVERY skating performance? Are we not allowed to go more than 5 minutes without ads? That seems a little excessive. Worse when it goes: skating, ad, scores, ad, skating. What's that about?


In other news - my 9 y/o nephew fixed my old DVD player by taking it apart and tapping on it. Or something. No idea. I haven't used it in about 2 years, but he seems to have gotten it to work. Kinda cool. =)

He's also given us new lyrics for 'When the Lights Go Out in the City' by Journey... new lyrics: 'When the nights go down in history'. These go nicely with some of his others, like 'I drove the Chevy to the levy... will the Chevy ever get drived'. Love my nephew. XD
