8000 / 25000 words. 32% done!
According to my estimation-calculations, I need to write approximately 68 more pages to reach 25k. I write about 250 words per page.
My writing process? I write by hand, then transcribe from that. I do some editing during the transcription phase. Transcribing is so much easier now that I have the LiveScribe pen b/c it uploads the pages to the PC, then I use MyScript to convert the handwriting to text. It does better on some pages than others. Of course, it might do better if my handwriting was more consistent, but I don't see that happening.
As for the story itself? Well, I figured out that I needed another minor conflict to keep the plot rolling, so off it's going. We'll see what happens from here.
