Really obnoxious person at minor league baseball game tonight - sitting 2 rows behind us. How the fuck do we attract these people? She had one of those annoying voices, but what made it worse was that she wouldn't shut up. She talked the whole game. Situation exacerbated by the fact that she had her feet on the insanely squeaky chair in front of her and proceeded to move her damned feet every which way but loose in order to make it squeak the whole damned time. Until the lady the row behind her asked her to stop b/c it was giving her a headache. To which obnoxious-squeaky-girl replied: "Oh, I didn't know I was squeaking it." Really? You missed the loud *SQUEEEEEEAAAAAAAAK!* every time you tilted your feet? Oh, right, of COURSE you did, because your damned mouth was running a mile-a-minute through the whole game.

Despite all that, chainsaw!Giles is appropriate, b/c local minor league baseball team cut a swath through the away team and wiped the floor with them - 9-2. It was a little tense around the 5th when they had a 1-run lead and it looked like they were gonna blow it, but they pulled something out of their asses and pushed full-steam-ahead. I like watching *good* games. They're exciting.

Now, I just need hockey season to start up and I'll be all set. *makes plans to go see Stars play in Carolina in December!*
